Roswell has created a conundrum for those little Easter Egg Hunters out there. Do you want to do one or two Easter Egg Hunts this year in Roswell?
Your first option is the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Smith Plantation. The historic grounds of Smith Plantation will be open at 10:00am for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt continues a tradition started by Lizzie Smith, oldest child of Archibald and Anne Smith. Children should bring their own baskets and enjoy finding the candy-filled treasures. The Smith Plantation is located at 935 Alpharetta Street, Roswell, GA 30075. The cost is $5 per child. The event kicks off at 10am, but please arrive early to pay.
Your second option is to bring the family out for an adventure as we hunt eggs in the dark with nothing but flashlights. And be sure to keep an eye out for the Golden Egg for a special basket of prizes. The Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at East Roswell Recreation Center, 9000 Fouts Road, Roswell, GA 30076. The event starts at 7:30pm.
All participants must be registered. Cost is $12, resident (child); $18, non-resident (child) and $4, resident (parent); $6, non-resident (parent). For more information and to register, visit RoswellGov.com.
